World's first energy efficiency mobile internet siteThe National Energy Foundation has launched what is believed to be the world's first mobile internet site devoted to energy efficiency, using WAP technology. "I am very pleased that users of WAP enabled mobile phones now have the opportunity to find basic information about saving energy," said Ian Byrne, Deputy Director of the National Energy Foundation. "We have always been keen to encourage UK consumers to install leading edge yet proven measures to save energy, and this site shows our continuing commitment to keep at the front of technology."
